FIELD: abdominal surgery. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to facilitate performing operations related to plastics of complicated abdominal hernia defects. Transplant is manufactured as follows: knitted nylon transplant is placed in alcohol solution of an alcohol-soluble antibiotic or mixture of antibiotics, e.g. erythromycin, levomycetin, where impregnation of synthetic fibers with indicated preparations is taking place. Transplant is thus exposed to solution for 22-24 h, removed, dried in air, and briefly placed in 7-% acetone solution of medicinal glue (Sulfacrylate). Thereafter, transplant is laid on sterile gauze dressing where, 1-3 min later, polymerization of glue coating occurs. The thus manufactured transplant is either applied immediately in operation or placed in double sterile polyethylene packaging and applied when required during its storage time. EFFECT: reduced number of rejections and purulo-inflammatory complications. 2 ex
