FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for carrying out high-exothermic reaction between liquids such as hydrogen peroxide and propylene. Reactor consists of a sequence of separate zones containing batch bed of solid catalyst. Liquid withdrawn from each zone is cooled and main portion of it is returned into the same zone, while remaining portion of liquid passes into next zone. EFFECT: enabled efficient temperature and reagent concentration control. 7 cl, 3 dwg
