FIELD: detection of narcotics in illegal circulation. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for qualitative analysis and quick detection of narcotics in illegal circulation by change of color of color-forming reagent. Indicative element presenting indicator paper with two-ring print of saturated solution of bromine-phenol blue in methylene chloride and sealed in polymer film is used for detection of heroin. In middle part of indicative element there is cut hole covered by carrier with adhesive layer to form indicative indentation on which sample of substance to be analyzed is put and wetted with methylene chloride. Presence of sought-for substance in sample is judged by change of color of indicative rings. Method is simple and more informative as compared with other known processes since it allows exactly heroin to be detected with greater degree of probability. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of detection of heroin and diminished probability of artifacts (false operations) during practical applications. 1 dwg
