FIELD: instruments and telemetry. SUBSTANCE: device operates in conditions of average current, which is greater than minimal current which runs in circuit. Mean value of tapped current is kept below real current in circuit by means of delaying execution of control program by microprocessor with which intelligent detector is equipped. Delay provides decreased current need down to level which is provided by current circuit. Delay is achieved by means of units for detection of current deficiency and switching microprocessor to idle mode in order to decrease power consumption until deficiency is overcome. Idle mode is delayed in case, if microprocessor executes time-critical operations. EFFECT: improved power supply of detector. 4 cl, 2 dwg
