FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, namely to a structure and functionality of meters of AC electric energy of single- and three-phase panel design and single- and three-phase meters of split architecture (SPLIT); it can be used as household multifunctional electric energy meters. An electric energy meter is claimed, containing a microprocessor including an arithmetic device, permanent and reprogrammable program memory, data RAM, and timer counters of general purpose, connected to the microprocessor, a power measurement unit, a memory unit for storage of measurement results, a meter powering unit, and real-time clock also containing a memory module of 512 bytes, powered with an autonomous source. The power measurement unit contains: the first current measurement channel, the second and subsequent current measurement channels, a voltage measurement channel, two channels for calculation of RMS value, a node for calculation of active power, a node for calculation of reactive power, three nodes for control of signal transition through “arithmetical 0”, wherein a node for calculation of a power coefficient (cos ϕ) is located at an output of current and voltage measurement channels.

EFFECT: creation of a structure of a new type, allowing for provision of an increase in the reliability of the structure, reduction in labor intensity during assembly and mounting in field, an increase in functionality of a device, an increase in a degree of protection from unauthorized access.
