FIELD: digital electronic equipment, in particular, for clearing information in programmed digital chips without windows transparent for ultraviolet light. SUBSTANCE: method involves short-circuiting contacts of chip to be cleared and subjecting it to X-ray braking radiation generated by heavy-current nanosecond pulsed cyclotron. All contacts of chip are short- circuited using metal foil. Chips to be cleared are arranged in several layers.
