FIELD: sanitary. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing materials having proteolytic and antioxidant activities to be applied to treat wounds and burns. Oxidized cellulose substrate is preliminarily treated with 2-4% antioxidant solution in ethyl alcohol at 60-70 C and antioxidant-to- substrate weight ratio (0.03-0.06): 1. The thus pretreated material is further treated with aqueous solution of trypsin at pH 2.95-3.05 and substrate-to-trypsin weight ratio 1000:(0.5-0.75). Material exhibits proteolytic activity and accelerates healing of purulent wounds. EFFECT: improved manufacturing procedure. 1 tbl, 4 ex
