FIELD: belt rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes measuring roller abutting to belt and deflected from it by means of piston-cylinder system. Apparatus for measuring effort of belt action upon roller includes pickups for detecting hydraulic pressure values and arranged at both sides of piston and computing device connected with pickups for calculating belt tension according to pressure values measured by pickups. EFFECT: simplified system for detecting belt tension with enhanced accuracy due to elimination of measurement errors depending upon arrangement and type of effort sensing members. 3 cl, 1 dwg
