FIELD: chemistry of polymers, more particularly preparation of polyolefin-based polymeric compositions and manufacture of pipes, shapes, films, sheets, and other products. SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises first mixing dithiocarbonate derivative and industrial carbon with some polyethylene or copolymers thereof with α-olefin, with industrial carbon concentration in polyethylene or copolymer thereof with α-olefins of 15-40 wt % and subsequently mixing the resulting product with remaining portion of polyethylene or copolymer with α-olefin and thermostabilizer, the ratios of compounds being as follows (wt %): 0.01-0.5 thermostabilizer; 0.005-0.5 dithiocarbamate derivative; 0.5-3.0 industrial carbon; polyethylene or copolymer thereof with α-olefin, the balance. The claimed process makes it possible to obtain polymeric composition having high resistance to thermooxidative destruction at lower concentrations of thermostabilizer.
