FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes anionic or cationic type bitumen emulsion having stratifying additive. Stratifying additive is added to emulsion in the form of suspension of stratifying solid phase in oil. Emulsion is obtained by preparing suspension of stratifying solid phase in oil and subsequently mixing said suspension with anionic or cationic type bitumen emulsion. Bitumen emulsion is used in rood building, service of roads, processing of old asphalt road coatings and in construction work. The claimed bitumen emulsion uses solid phases instead of solutions which can stratify bitumen emulsions. EFFECT: improved properties of the bitumen emulsion. 10 cl, 3 ex
