BITUMEN EMULSION COMPOSITION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: preparing of bitumen emulsion. SUBSTANCE: bitumen emulsion composition has, wt.-%: bitumen binder 50-90; emulsifier 0.06-2.0; thickening agent 0.01-0.2; regulator of medium pH 0-2, and water - the rest. Source of thickening agent: scleroglucan of different species, scleroglucan purified, modified with glyoxal or technical one prepared by fermentation and containing 70% scleroglucan and 30% biomass. Source of bitumen binder: bitumen or bitumen binder with content of bitumen 85-99%. Binder containing bitumen less than 100% is a product of 85-95 wt.-% bitumen with 5-15 wt.-% solution butadiene-styrene block-copolymer and sulfur in the oil fraction or a product of 95-99 wt.-% bitumen with 0.9-4 wt.-% butadiene-styrene block-copolymer and 0.1-1 wt. -% sulfur.
