FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: mechanical coded lock has body, latch, slide-member which retains latch and is installed in body with possible axial displacement in direction which is perpendicular to latch displacement plane. Coding mechanism has coding units which are located parallel to each other in axial direction. Coding units are provided with analyzers and external coding handles. Interlocking member is also installed. Each coding unit is made up of cylindrical coding drum having analyzer in the form of tooth arranged in internal side surface and longitudinal grooves in external side surface. It is installed so that it can rotate in corresponding hole bored in slide-member and is connected with external coding member. Also provided is cylindrical closing disk which is secured on body. Disk is axially installed on internal surface of coding drum and has slot for passing of tooth which functions as analyzer of coding drum. In this case, longitudinal grooves of coding drum interact with ball-type detent. Interlocking member is made in the form of serrated protrusions which are fastened to body. Number of serrated protrusions corresponds to number of coding units. Aforesaid embodiment of lock is specified by its high secrecy and reliability. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
