FIELD: storage and delivery of compressed gases, for example, hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, etc. SUBSTANCE: method consists in delivery of compressed gases to Customer and throttling of its pressure and check of temperature of gas for determination of throttling effect and kind of gas being delivered. Device for realization of this method includes compressed gas receivers combined in common main, shut-off members and throttling unit. Device is also provided with check valves fitted after shut-off members before combining the receivers in common main. Compressed gas delivery device is provided with temperature sensors mounted before and after throttling unit. EFFECT: determination of throttling effect and kind of gas being delivered through check of change in its temperature. 3 cl, 1 dwg
