FIELD: domestic dust collecting equipment. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for closing disposable dust catcher 1 of vacuum cleaner. Dust catcher 1 has rigid part 1a adjacent to closable inlet hole and closing gate 5 which may be moved by rotation between inlet hole opening position and inlet hole closing position in plane of rigid part 1a. Gate 5 is mounted adjacent to rigid part 1a provided with profiled opening 4a, which is shaped and contoured to define and serve as guide for sliding closing gate 5. Construction allows closure device for dust catcher to be actuated without direct contact with dust catcher by means of independent control unit.
