SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dust collect to be mounted in the main housing of the vacuum cleaner and removed therefrom, and to the electrically-driven vacuum cleaner incorporating such dust collector. The dust collector has a housing with a dust collecting chamber to accumulate dust, a gripping part arranged outside the main housing to carry the housing with a hand, a pressing mechanism with an appropriate pressing element to press dust accumulating in the dust collecting chamber and a lever. The latter is arranged above the gripping part to actuate the pressing element by moving the said lever towards the gripping part. The electrically-driven vacuum cleaner incorporates a dust collector.

EFFECT: pressing the dust, ease of use.
