FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combined synergistic method of producing methanol and tertiary butyl ethers of lower alkyls by partially oxidizing heavy hydrocarbon fractions. SYNERGISTIC method of producing methanol includes: electrolysis of water to give hydrogen and oxygen; providing feed stream of organic fuel; feeding at least part of oxygen with stoichiometric amount of organic fuel into partial-oxidation reactor to form emission gases including carbon monoxide and hydrogen; feeding stoichiometric amounts of the latter into methanol synthesizer to produce methanol. EFFECT: consumed carbon monoxide which is one of basic harmful components of exhaust gases. 34 cl, 11 dwg, 3 ex
