FIELD: furnaces for performing reaction at high temperatures. SUBSTANCE: rotary tube furnace has lateral surface provided with refractory lining and gas supply nozzles connected to at least one gas source. Lateral surface is provided with disk secured on outer circle. This disk is concentric relative to rotary tube. Disk has inner passages and U-shaped concentric chute on outer circle forming the circular passage connected with inner passages. Gas supply nozzles made in lateral surface are connected with inner passages; chute is connected to gas supply source. EFFECT: enhanced intensity of contact between gases and raw material under treatment and consequently reduced time of treatment and enhanced economical efficiency of process. 7 cl, 3 dwg
