FIELD: indication of level of liquid by measurement of parameters of acoustic waves. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic liquid level gauge includes case, rod acoustic waveguide which one end has electroacoustic converter and which other end carries hollow resonator. Resonator cavity is isolated from external medium, case of gauge is made fast and tight to surface of rod acoustic waveguide in zone of minimal vibrations of its rod on working frequency of gauge. It has unit for its attachment to outer base. In specific case resonator cavity is isolated from external medium by plate made fast and tight to rod acoustic waveguide. Thickness of plate is less than W/12, where W is length of acoustic wave in rod acoustic waveguide on working frequency. EFFECT: diminished dependence of operation of gauge on environment and application conditions without reduction of accuracy of its measurements. 4 cl, 4 dwg
