FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid level indication devices by measuring parameters of sound waves. Ultrasonic liquid level sensor includes an acoustic waveguide, at one end of which there is an electroacoustic transducer, at the other end – an acoustic resonator. At that, acoustic waveguide includes flexible metal rod, to each end of which cylindrical waveguide is rigidly connected through conical acoustic concentrator, wherein one cylindrical waveguide is connected to the electroacoustic transducer, and the other cylindrical waveguide is connected to the acoustic resonator.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the sensor by using it in high temperature, radiation, powerful electromagnetic interference, strong vibrations, shocks and other negative factors, as well as the ability to mount, maintain, repair the sensor without endangering the operating personnel.
