FIELD: electrical and electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: battery charger is provided, in addition, with N-1 devices each incorporating, in addition, two comparators, voltage divider, OR circuit, diode, power switch, and limiting resistor; voltage divider output is connected to inverting input of first comparator; voltage divider input is connected to common point of transistor bases of differential amplifier; noninverting input of first comparator is connected to emitter of differential amplifier first transistor; output of first comparator is connected to first input of OR circuit; operational amplifier output is connected to inverting input of second comparator; inverting input of second comparator is connected to battery plus and to diode anode; second comparator output is coupled with second input of OR circuit whose output is connected to control input of power switch which is inserted between battery minus and limiting resistor whose second lead is connected to diode cathode.
