FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: inner springy construction 10 has outer springs 12 positioned in parallel one with another to define upper and lower faces 24,26, inner springs 14 axially aligned with outer springs 12, with number and shape of inner springs 14 being similar to that of outer springs 12. According to one version, spiral tightening wire is wound onto adjacent end coils of coaxial springs to form strengthened spring links 16. Spiral tightening wire interconnects springs 16 of spring construction and joins end coils of peripheral springs to edge wire 28. According to other version, spring construction has set of inner springs and set of outer springs, each being formed from single elongate wire length so that adjacent springs in each set are interconnected by joining segments. Sets of springs are spatially joined so that inner springs are positioned coaxially with respect to outer springs to define strengthened spring links. EFFECT: increased rigidity and wear-resistance of separate zones of mattress adapted for taking up basic load, reduced production costs, simplified construction not requiring substantial readjustment of process. 27 cl, 10 dwg
