FIELD: furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: springy structure has n units made as sets of springs connected with one another into rows by means of tightening members, which are arranged between units upper and lower surfaces at an angle of 0-90 deg with respect to one another. Number of units in springy structure is from 2 to n and number of tightening members between units is from 1 to n-1. Tightening members are made in the form of spiral wires or rubber cords and like members. Springy structure is further provided with intermediate member made from, for example, flexible collapsible material arranged in space defined by tightening members in lower and upper face surfaces of springy structure and outer parallel spring rows of adjacent units. Such construction allows mattresses to be collapsed at an angle to their base, or folded in two or three. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and increased fields of application, and provision for obtaining of ecologically clean articles. 4 cl, 7 dwg
