FIELD: medicine, in particular, surgery; may be used in operations accompanied with liver hypoxia. SUBSTANCE: liver perfusion with antihypoxic solution is performed through umbilical vein. Perfusion is carried out in two stages. The first stage is started 10-15 min before manipulation of liver. Use is made of 0.9-% solution of sodium chloride saturated with ozone in concentration of 150-200 mcg/l and cooled to 25 C. Solution is introduced at the rate of 60 drops per minute. The second stage is started just after constriction of hepatoduodenal ligament. Use is made of 0.9-% solution of sodium chloride cooled to 15 C. Ozone concentration in solution is increased up to 500 mcg/l. Solution is introduced at the rate of 120 drops per minute. Liver perfusion is carried out during the entire period of constriction of hepatoduodenal ligament. Blood flow is restored. Liver is perfused for 15-20 min more. EFFECT: prolonged term of constriction of hepatoduodenum ligament operation and reduced probability of occurrence of postoperative complications.
