FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to experimental surgery, and can be used to reduce hepatocytolysis under conditions of temporary liver exclusion from the blood circulation. To do this, the ischemically-reperfusion damage of the liver is modeled on the rat by clamping the hepatic-duodenal ligament for 15 minutes. At that, in order to reduce hepatocytolysis after laparotomy, intraperitoneal administration of sodium dichloroacetate diluted in 0.5 ml of 0.9 % sodium chloride solution is carried out at a dosage of 300 mg per 1 kg of body weight of the animal.
EFFECT: method allows to achieve reduction of hepatocytolysis due to the activation of aerobic respiration enzyme systems in the cell, helps to increase the obtained data reliability by minimizing the possibility of influencing the result by organism own stress-protection systems.
