FIELD: methods and device for fire-extinguishing, in particular, in spaces with risk of fire occurrence under structure of floor, in cabinets with electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: method provides for formation of concentration of fire-extinguishing gas in combination with sprayed liquid. Liquid is sprayed by means of at least one sprayer in protected space. Concentration of fire-extinguishing gas is formed within at least one partial space which is narrow space for cables, cabinet with apparatuses, hold space of ship machine compartment, etc. The device for method embodiment has at least one sprayer for formation of sprayed liquid and located in space under protection, gas nozzles and drive unit containing at least one hydraulic accumulator actuated by gas. Device is made for supply of at least one part of supplying gas to gas nozzles located inside at least one partial space smaller than the total space to be protected. Partial space presents narrow space for cables, cabinet with apparatus, hold space of ship machine compartment, etc. EFFECT: improved access to hard-to-reach places and reduced expenditures of materials. 12 cl, 24 dwg
