FIELD: development of oil fields with bottom water, in particular, development of contact oil reserves and water-oil transition zones. SUBSTANCE: method involves perforating bed transition zone; withdrawing water till reverse cone oil body and conical bottom water body are formed underneath the bed; performing additional shooting of water-logged top part of transition zone above existing perforation interval; pumping-in selective water-isolating composition for forming artificial screen for oil-saturated liquid. Screen has impermeable bottom part and permeable conical top part and is adapted for isolating stripping interval over the whole height of it from bottom water. Method allows oil well operating period free of water to be increased. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced flooding of product and provision for extraction of liquid from water-oil transition zone part most saturated with oil. 2 dwg
