FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to developing oil deposits with toe-hole water. Method includes creation of water- impermeable shield in water-filled part of bed by way of removing water from this part of bed to form oil cone, removal of water being performed after primary pumping-out of oil from oil-filled part of bed and take-off of oil and water is performed by consecutive-cyclic method with periodic shut-off of canals for transportation of produced fluids from oil-filled and water-filled parts of bed. To prolong operation of well in oil-production mode, effective selective water- insulation composition is introduced into hole clearance and further forced into bed to form impermeable shield shaped as reverse (negative) oil cone.
