FIELD: protective equipment. SUBSTANCE: protective helmet body has rigid outer and inner laminated enclosures of composite materials based on fibrous reinforcing materials and binder. Outer and inner enclosures are joined one with another. Pack of ballistic fabric layers free of polymeric binder is sandwiched between enclosures, with all layers being provided with adhesion-resistant antihydrooleophobic coat. Thickness of coat is sufficient for reliable isolation of filaments in fabric of each layer, with filaments being capable of moving one relative to another. Pack of layers and rigid enclosures are registered one relative to another so as to define common edge and are retained in selected position by means of annular channel member, which embraces common edge from outside. Channel member is secured with rigid enclosures through strips by glue connection. EFFECT: increased moisture-resistance of helmet body parts and provision for stable protective characteristics. 2 cl, 3 dwg
