FIELD: haulage of material sheet. SUBSTANCE: pulling roller is made as a sucking roller with rotating roller shell 2, having holes 3, it is enclosed by material sheet along the circumference section. The internal device for feeding the sucking air connected to a low-pressure source terminates on the inner circumference of roller shell 2, it is so made that a permanent sucking V-shaped surface is formed around the shell edges. The vertex of the wedge is directed opposite the sense of rotation of roller shell 2, it is located in the beginning of the mentioned section of circumference in the middle of the roller. With the increase of the angle of enclosure the sucking surface expands obliquely outside in both side, and at the end of the section of circumference it has a width corresponding to the total width of the material sheet. EFFECT: stretching of sheet in width at passage of the sucking roller without any additional smoothing rollers. 5 cl, 5 dwg
