FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: bacteria of family Bacillus are cultured at continuous aeration in liquid nutrient medium containing mineral salts and peptone. Medium is seeded with mother exponential culture in amount (1-2) x 109 cells in 1 ml. Mother culture is prepared by partially growing seed material bacteria in reactors with consecutively increasing volumes. Volume of each subsequent reactor is tenfold superior to preceding one. Culture is reseeded in exponential phase diluting it tenfold in each subsequent reactor so that seed dose is equal to (1-2) x 109 cells in 1 ml. In the last production reactor, culture is grown for 14-16 hr until maximum biomass value and conversion of 70-100% of vegetative cells into spores are attained. Then desired product is separated in the form of culture fluid containing 22-24 billion cells in 1 ml (70-100% spores). To it, biomass stabilizer (0.5-2% gum or 2-6% sodium sulfate) is added. EFFECT: enabled preservation of number of live colony-forming cells in preparation for 6-8 months. 1 tbl, 3 ex
