FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out maximum upper eyelid levator resection using Whitnall ligament as block for shortened muscles. To do it, the levator is separated from Whitnall ligament. Before being sutured to tarsal plate, the levator is brought under the ligament. EFFECT: wide amplitude of eyelid movements. 2 dwg
