SUBSTANCE: winch has frame, traction mechanism with front and rear wedge grips, power cylinders and jaw operating (closing-opening) mechanism. Winch has lock in form of wedge grip and flexible member with angle blocks. traction mechanism is made of flanges secured on frame rigidly coupled by columns on which movable crossmembers are installed. Housings of front and rear wedge grips are installed on crossmembers which are coupled with flanges by power cylinders, and with each other, by flexible member through angle blocks. clamping jaws of wedge grips are made in form of toothed racks over entire length of their side surfaces, with shift of teeth on each side surface through pitch of neighbor clamping jaws in constant contact with toothed racks.
