FIELD: motor fuels. SUBSTANCE: oil stock is subjected to catalytic hydrocracking at elevated temperature and pressure with degree of conversion 50 to 85%, after which gasoline medium-distillate fraction with boiling range 130- 360 C and residuum are isolated from hydrogenate. 50-95% of medium- distillate fraction is then catalytically dearomatized and dearomatization product is combined with the rest of medium-distillate fraction.
