FIELD: textile and sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: twisted reinforced thread has reinforced yarn, complex polyester core filament positioned at an angle of 13-17 deg to axis of twisted reinforced thread, and sheathing composed of filaments of final length attached by twisting. Sheathing is made from staple polyester filaments having winding extent of 7.6-12.3% and winding stability of 67.4-83.8%. Thread has at least two reinforced twisted yarns. EFFECT: increased strength and elasticity of stitches during lengthening of stitches in longitudinal and transverse directions with respect to stitch line. 2 cl, 2 tbl
