FIELD: dairy industry. SUBSTANCE: drum of centrifugal separator has plate holder with main stack of plates and auxiliary plate holder positioned on hollow shaft rotating vertically. Auxiliary plate holder forms side wall of drum and is provided with auxiliary stack of plates. Every plate of this stack is arranged in spaces between main stack plates. It has external beading and feed holes. They are positioned on tapered part of auxiliary stack plates and shifted to lower base of their cones. Radius of lower base of main stack plate cone is reduced by value of feed hole diameter. EFFECT: higher efficiency of milk cleaning. 3 dwg
