FIELD: television engineering. SUBSTANCE: video signal is shaped by concurrent scanning of photosensitive screen areas corresponding to image areas with optical beam. Scanning beam source is made in the form of source matrix. Beam scanning system is made in the form of matrix of inclined plates with matched scanning-beam transmission and reflection coefficients. Number of plates corresponds to that of concurrently scanned image areas. Photosensitive screen is made for displaying video signal from each scanned area.
