FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has herbicide sprayer with spraying devices and color video camera. During traveling of apparatus all spraying devices of herbicide sprayer are within the visual field of video camera. When video camera detects green color of weed on field portion treated by one spraying device, image analyzer delivers command for switching on respective spraying device through electric valve. Analyzer generates commands for turning spraying device by actuating mechanism, for moving it within the limits of its width and for changing its spraying angle. Comparative evaluation of field portion under treatment is performed by means of color marks on spraying devices, which are positioned for displacement in transverse-horizontal plane and inclination in vertical plane.
