FIELD: production of multifunctional furniture, in particular, device for transformation of chair (armchair) or bench (sofa) into table and vice versa. SUBSTANCE: piece of furniture has seat and back connected one with another through link mechanism and mounted on base for relative displacement one with respect to another. Link mechanism allows seat and back to be independently moved one relative to another for transformation: spatial (angular and linear) displacement of back and rotary fixed displacement of seat to position allowing it to be transformed into auxiliary support for seat-table top (or bed). By combining motions of back and seat and, thus, changing their relative position, user may quickly and without applying substantial muscular force transform one piece of furniture into other balanced construction. When serving table top or bed, back rests with its one end on base cross member and with its other end on end of fixed seat. Such construction allows interior room parameters to be changed in accordance with current requirements and space to be saved.
