FIELD: furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: furniture has base formed of two parts laid onto one another. When furniture is used as sofa and armchair, base upper part forms seat, when furniture is transformed into bed, upper part forms portion of surface for lying. Lower part of base is positioned for displacement to advanced position. Furniture is furnished with elbow rests joined to form U-shaped member and back support, which, according to one embodiment, is made in the form of detachable cushion and, according to other embodiment, in the form of two members pivotally connected with one another. In the process of transforming seat version of furniture into bed, back support member is positioned between U-shaped elbow rests on advanced portion of base lower part, with sufficient height and width of lying place being provided. EFFECT: simplified construction of furniture allowing easy transformation thereof into sofa, armchair and bed. 23 cl, 10 dwg
