SUBSTANCE: method including leaching active components in slurry, separating them with filter from solid residue, treating filtrate and solid residue, mixing the latter with active components from filtrate, adding components of fresh contact mass, drying, molding, and heat treatment is distinguished by that solid residue after filtration is treated with solution of potassium and/or sodium alkali at molar ratio SiO2/(K2O+Na2O)-V2O5 from 2.5 to 29.8 until degree of SiO2 isolation into solution attains 0.1 to 1.0, after which sulfuric acid-containing SiO2 and V2O5 gel is coprecipitated.
