FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves investigating lipid components of patient blood serum. Hyperlipoproteinemia type according to Fredericson classification is recorded. IIb type hyperlipoproteinemia being detected, aseptic necrosis of the femur head is diagnosed with probability level 4 times higher than that of coxarthrosis.
