FIELD: radar engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves alternate use of several feeds of mirror antenna which are in focus of its reflector and are arranged on either side of it and spaced apart in vertical plane through angles not smaller than half the directivity pattern width for radiation and reception. Device implementing this method has, apart from reflector and feeds, microwave switch controlled by mechanical pendulum built up of plumb line and weight.
