FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: control over directional pattern by width is achieved by usage of main directional pattern of antenna for transmission and summary and difference patterns of main and two side patterns with offset of their axes to both sides of main directional pattern by half of its width by zero level for reception. Device for realization of method includes reflector, feed with SHF path, two additional receiving feeds connected to SHF path of basic feed by additional paths with usage of summing bridge that includes controlled matching device to change phases of mixed signals and SHF switches preventing coming of energy generated by radar transmitter and emitted by antenna into additional receiving paths.
