FIELD: mining industry, in particular, hydromechanical mining of nonmetalliferous bulk materials and concentration of heavy minerals of alluvial deposits. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic screen-concentrator has cylindrical housing with conical sieving surface, two charging branch pipes of rectangular section extending diametrically downstream of feeding hydraulic mixture flow, and discharge branch pipes. Vertical partition wall divides space under hydraulic screen into two vessels with separate discharge pipes. Charging branch pipes are equipped with slide valve gates and screw stops for fixing gaps and imparting initial speeds V(1) and V(2) to hydraulic mixture flow. Screen-concentrator of such construction allows two undersize products having different qualitative characteristics to be obtained. EFFECT: reduced power consumption and decreased material usage by eliminating usage of lean sand from concentration process. 2 dwg
