FIELD: protection of surrounding medium against action of explosion and keeping explosion products, metal fragments, gaseous and other agents formed in the course of explosion including chemically toxic agents and radioactive aerosols in closed volume. SUBSTANCE: device includes external reinforced concrete shell and internal metal shell; space between these shells is filled with damping material. Closed sealing metal envelope is introduced between reinforced concrete shell and damping layer. This envelope may be made from ditch-shaped panels hermetically interconnected over perimeter of open ends and directed by their bottoms towards reinforced concrete shell. EFFECT: extended capabilities of device in designing and modification (introduction of additional equipment) of reinforced concrete protection structures; hermetic isolation of explosion products, accompanying gases and finely-dispersed aerosols in handling nuclear, chemical and other ammunitions. 2 cl, 1 dwg
