FIELD: blasting operations in mining industry, disposal of dangerously explosive objects. SUBSTANCE: method limiting effect of blast in closed space consists in filling of closed space with heterogeneous medium of low density which is formed by way of dynamic accelerated motion of layer of dispersed substance or layer of fluid. Device for implementation of method has according to first variant vessel containing condensed substance placed in closed space that has shell disintegrating with blast. Vessel comes in the form of layer, blasting device is installed inside additional closed space formed by this layer. This layer is located at some distance from internal surface of wall closed space. In compliance with second variant device for realization of method includes vessel with shell containing condensed substance disintegrating after blast placed in closed space. Shell of vessel is located at some distance form wall of body. Blasting device is placed inside vessel.
