SUBSTANCE: invention of family deals with expansion of freedom of position of eye of rifleman at which start of aiming at target is possible. Aperture of sighting device that includes material information medium on sighting mark and element forming image of sighting mark in space of objects of sighting is divided into two zones: preliminary sighting zone and operational zone. In this case deviation of rays outgoing from operational zone from sighting direction does not exceed twelve angular minutes and of rays outgoing from preliminary sighting zone is not less than one degree. Second invention of family is meant for increase of height of sighting device that includes material information medium on sighting mark and element forming image of sighting mark in space of objects of sighting. Geometrical form of meridian section of element forming image is fabricated in form asymmetric relative to optical axis when upper point of section is at considerably greater distance from optical axis than lower one. Third invention of family is intended for reduction of number of optical components of element forming image of sighting mark in sighting device that includes material information medium on sighting mark and element forming image of sighting sign in space of objects of sighting. In this case element forming image of sighting mark is manufactured with one component.
