FIELD: optical instruments, in particular, observation, laying and sighting systems. SUBSTANCE: the sighting device is provided with material carriers of information on the physical properties of the sighting object with controllable characteristics and visible angle sizes not exceeding 2 deg., background, located close to the sighting object with controllable characteristics and visible angle sizes not exceeding 4 deg., or the degree of the shift of the sighting device position from the position corresponding to accurate laying. The above information carriers may substitute for the material carrier of information on the sighting sign and may be placed in one light-emitting diode on one crystal radiator. The outlet optical surface of the light- emitting diode is treated after its casting in a form together with the fitting for elimination of inaccurate installation of the fitting with the crystal-radiator. The optical aspheric surface is treated by a deformable tool, whose shape of bending of the working surface at treatment corresponds to the profile of the aspheric surface to be obtained. During treatment the part is moved relative to the tool. The peripheral sections of the aspheric surface and light-emitting diode that do not carry any functional load are removed. EFFECT: reduced time of sighting and laying, enhanced accuracy, reduced mass, overall dimensions, cost of sighting and observation devices, simplified design. 27 cl, 15 dwg
