FIELD: aiming and guiding systems. SUBSTANCE: two images of object, as minimum, are superimposed one on another in process of preliminary aiming or guidance. With this in mind recognized angular position of one image is altered by change of angular position of weapon or guiding unit. During final aiming or guidance with the use of specified procedure images of aiming or guidance are oriented with reference to one another or their check points are matched. EFFECT: reduced time and increased accuracy of aiming, expanded application field of method with simplification of design of aiming system, decreased mass, dimensions and manufacturing cost of sight an weapon. 4 cl
