FIELD: experimental nuclear physics. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with stabilization of amplification factor of scintillation spectrometer of gamma radiation. Process consists in storage in integrator of difference of reading rates in digital windows on slopes of reference peak. Additional correction signal that is summed with reference signal is input to integrator. Obtained sum of signals is re- recorded in integrator so changing gain factor of spectrometer that maximum of information peak is established on boundary between two adjacent amplitude windows chosen on energy scale. This sum of signals is kept in integrator in the course of time of measurement of information peak. Device for realization of process has scintillation detector, amplifier, analyzer and electron control circuit. EFFECT: increased accuracy of stabilization of energy scale of scintillation spectrometer while determining small concentrations, for instance, of uranium 235 in gaseous uranium hexafluoride. 2 cl, 2 dwg
